Mammoet: The world's Strongest Crane

In our recent collaboration with SixteenbyNine, we worked on a unique project featuring Mammoet’s world’s strongest crane. The footage was captured in a single, continuous drone shot to showcase the crane’s massive scale. To bring movement and energy to the visuals, we used granular synthesis for many of the sound effects, giving each motion a distinct, dynamic presence. We also equalized the voice-over to mimic an airplane announcement, injecting it with noise to emulate a pilot speaking through a cabin speaker. For the music direction, we chose a fast-paced liquid drum and bass track that perfectly matched the drone’s swift, sweeping shots. This project was particularly enjoyable because of its originality and the creative freedom it allowed us. In the end, we blended the music, voice-over, and sound design into one cohesive final product that truly brought the footage to life.
