Drukwerknodig is an online printing company focused on making high-quality print accessible, fast and affordable for a wide audience. Operating in a competitive market, clarity, reliability and brand recognition are essential.

To strengthen their brand beyond the visual domain, Drukwerknodig set out to develop a distinctive audio identity for use across radio advertising and social media, reflecting their accessible, efficient and modern character.

Fine Tune Audio

At Fine Tune Audio, we see audio branding as an extension of a brand’s identity. For Drukwerknodig, we translated their brand values into a clear and versatile sonic language.

By combining music, voice and sound design, we created an audio identity that is instantly recognizable, flexible in use and consistent across radio and social campaigns.

Our process

Strategy development

We started by mapping Drukwerknodig’s brand values, audience and position in the market. Through close alignment with their team and a review of their brand identity, we defined a clear direction for the audio branding.

From there, we translated their target audience into musical preferences and listening behavior. This helped us shape a sound that feels modern and accessible, while subtly reflecting the world of print through rhythm and texture.

Demos and prototypes

With the strategy in place, we developed a series of audio demos exploring different directions within the defined sound.

Each concept highlighted a different aspect of the brand, from speed and efficiency to clarity and reliability. These demos formed the basis for selection, refinement and the final audio identity.

The first round of demos.

We explored multiple directions through a series of iterations, demos and creative proposals. Inspired by Drukwerknodig’s clear, fast and accessible brand, we aimed to translate that same energy into audio. To give a strong and diverse selection, we developed three distinct demo directions. From there, Drukwerknodig guided the process by sharing what resonated, what didn’t, and why, allowing us to refine the audio identity towards the final result.

Feedback and finalization.

Feedback from Drukwerknodig helped us quickly identify the right direction. Their preference for the musical idea in Demo C gave us a clear focus moving forward.

We developed this direction into a concise final production, creating multiple deliverables in different lengths, including the audio logo. The result is a clear and recognizable audio identity, tailored for use across radio and social media.

Final Brand Music

The feedback on the initial soundboard and demos gave us clear direction to refine the audio further. With a better understanding of the desired tone and feel, we translated their preferences into a more focused audio approach.

From there, we built on the selected demo and developed it into the final audio identity, including the audio logo, fully aligned with Drukwerknodig’s vision.
