For Fraeylemaborg, we created two unique audio experiences.
First, a dynamic audiotour where visitors can have real conversations with one of the estate’s former owners, made possible through conversational AI and voice cloning.
Alongside it, we produced a traditional audiotour, offering a classic, voice-led journey through the halls and gardens of Fraeylemaborg.

We began by searching our pool of professional voice actors for someone who could embody the personality of the estate’s former lord. With permission, we used advanced audio processing tools to shape and reimagine the voice, giving it a tone that felt both noble and timeless.

Together with the Fraeylemaborg team, we collected historical material, to form the knowledge base that fuels the tour. Every piece of information was rewritten and organised for fast, natural conversation, minimising pauses and maximising realism.

Historical names and local places often proved tricky for AI pronunciation. We created a custom pronunciation dictionary containing every name, location, and reference, ensuring that “Henric Piccardt” and “Slochteren” sounded exactly as they should.

Beyond data, a voice needs character. We experimented with countless expression settings and dialogue instructions until the responses felt authentic, confident, a little dramatic, and full of presence, just as the lord of Fraeylemaborg might have been.

Finally, we tested the guide on-site. Hearing the recreated voice resonate through the halls was both fascinating and rewarding, a blend of heritage and innovation in perfect harmony.
